ThinkTN in the News: They’re trailblazers in their own right, and they’re dedicated to telling the story of women’s suffrage in Tennessee

The Tennessean (Aug. 16, 2019) — This trio of Nashville women take their walking seriously. In fact, two of them have walked together twice a week at 6 a.m. since 1999.

But the steps Margaret Behm, Jeanie Nelson and Juli Mosley remember most aren’t the recreational walks through Radnor Lake State Park or around the neighborhood in Oak Hill.

… Between 2017 and 2019, Tennessee was one of three states that experienced a decrease in the number of women elected to the state legislature, according to a study by local public policy think tank Think Tennessee.
