Bert Mathews is president of The Mathews Company and a partner at Colliers International. In those capacities, he has led some of Nashville’s most significant commercial real-estate projects.

Bert is a Nashville native who is a leader in both civic and professional organizations. He is the former chairman of the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce and was the founding chairman of the Nashville Council of the Urban Land Institute. Bert is also involved in Nashville’s Central Business Improvement District and the Nashville Downtown Partnership. He is former vice chairman of the Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority and former chairman of the Metropolitan Transit Authority.
