ThinkTennessee group aims for ‘pragmatic public policy’

THE JACKSON SUN Feb. 2, 2017 – Leaders of a new Nashville-based think tank led by former Tennessee Attorney General Bob Cooper say they aim to promote “moderate, pragmatic public policy.” The group is called ThinkTennessee and got its nonprofit status certified last month, said its president, Shanna Singh Hughey. “We think good public policy can make people’s lives better and that’s what we’re focused on promoting,” she said. NASHVILLE POST Feb. 2, 2017 – Former Tennessee Attorney General Bob Cooper and Shanna Singh Hughey an ex-senior advisor with then-Nashville Mayor Karl Dean, have launched a nonprofit think tank called ThinkTennessee.
