Pragyan Dey joined ThinkTennessee in August 2024 as an External Relations Associate. In this capacity, he supports ThinkTennessee‘s strategic communications and fundraising initiatives.
As a first generation immigrant, Pragyan’s personal journey has deeply influenced his commitment to public service and advocacy. He holds a degree in International Studies with a minor in Communication and Public Advocacy from Indiana University, Bloomington. His previous experience includes internships at the National Endowment for Democracy and VOX Global, where he honed his skills in public affairs and issue advocacy across diverse sectors.
At ThinkTennessee, Pragyan is eager to leverage his multidisciplinary background to support the organization’s mission of fostering informed public discourse and civic participation. He is particularly excited about the opportunity to engage with the Tennessee community and contribute to initiatives that have a direct impact on the lives of residents across the state.
Outside of his professional pursuits, Pragyan is an avid reader of historical and science fiction literature. He also has a passion for languages, having already mastered multiple, and continually seeks to learn more. His love for learning and cultural exploration drives him both in his personal life and in his work at ThinkTennessee.
